Skills and Success Workshops In-Person / Online
Join NorQuest Library and Tutorial and Academic Coaching staff and learn about different skills for success for your time at NorQuest College.
These workshops will be running from every Tuesday from 11 AM to 12 PM between January 16, 2024 and February 6, 2024.
The workshops are approximately 45 minutes in length with time after to ask questions or learn about Learner Centre services.
A reminder with the location details or a link to join online will be sent the day before the workshop - make sure to check your email (including your spam/junk mail folder)!
Schedule of workshops:
January 16 – scholarly sources and how to use them
January 23 – test taking strategies
January 30 – Ask a librarian: citation and referencing (APA Style)
February 6 – test anxiety
Please note that the January 30 workshop will be set up like a Q&A about APA style citation - the session is not teaching the mechanics of APA. If you need to learn how to use APA citation for your class, take our APA course!
